Confirmation Letters

Forgive me if I'm not up to speed. Is Yammi still sending conf letters out to waiters? Has anybody received one yet? :dntknw:

Prolly not gonna see letters 'til the PDP closes. That way they run them all at once and send them out.

Any truth to the rumor I'm starting about the bag liners not coming with the bikes this year?

Liners aren't the only problem... the side case subcontractor shut down for a major re-tooling. Bags are gonna be back-ordered, too. I hope they get the paint right this time. Remember when they back-ordered them from the '03's? Paint was off by several shades. What a PIA that was! :blink:

PDP closed Sat. Sunday and Monday most people were off.... Cut'em some slack.... TWN funny guy....

when I ordered my 05 never got a letter of confirmation. Just got a dilvery date and went with that form the dealer. I have a good dealer and known him for over 20 years this is where trust comes in. good luck with your 06

I ordered an 05 in February. The dealer called in May and told me it was here. No confirmation letter was received. The free cap showed up in August.

The word I recieved from Yamaha today is they won't have delivery months available unti the end of January. On the bright side.....I was able to order yet another FJR today. So i'm not sure when they will pull the plug on taking orders. Japan must still have a little production capability still available for them to continue taking orders past the deadline.
