Hi OrangeVale,

I know I've sent you Ziggy's e-mail a couple of times, and gave him yours, as he had wanted to help get donations for the WFO. Last year he brought a bunch of stuff to Reno as give-a-ways. He had an Aerostich suit to donate this year as well as other swag to hand out as door prizes. He's sure what happened, but he said he got no response from you. Anyway, he called us last night to let us know that he's in the Mayo Clinic being treated for throat cancer and he's not going to be able to help out now. Sorry it didn't work out and of course we wish him the best in his treatment and a full recovery.

Lisa

Lisa,

All my best thoughts go out to Ziggy. We will include his recovery in our prayers.

What happened? I was hard to get hold of. The company I work for got bought and I have been in the middle of the transitional work. It's kept me too busy to really do a lot. I also had to move offices and in the move a box of my files were lost, including the notes I had for this effort with contact information of vendors that Ziggy had made contact with.

Either way, I think we are pretty well covered for this event. More people are coming in on this. Tell Ziggy that it was all my fault that I went underground with how busy I have been at work and that I truly appreciate his work.

Andrew

Working on updating the Sponsors page today......

Son-of-a-BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I was scratching my head this morning wondering why everyone is asking about an updated WFO Sponsors page, since I updated it like three weeks ago.....

Until Orangevale pointed out on the phone this morning that the updates weren't showing up on the WFO-6 web site.... because I had FAILED to actually move the updated file from my development server to the actual web site!

Will update all others on Monday when I get return from my BBG3000......

I tolya to come up for some air!
Yes, you did.... and I'm bumming about this quite a bit.... :(

Here.... I guess I can go ahead and "out" myself to the WFO Staff.....

Below is the reason I have been so freakin' pre-occupied the last couple months, and quite frankly, this event is going to keep me pretty much consumed until it is over on July 6th. This link is CONFIDENTIAL for now, and NOT to be published or shared outside our WFO Admin quorum, please!

Yabba Dabba Doo! I'm cheering WC on to crushing this record once and for all!

As Warchild's Kharma Cheerleader....I just advised my client to get his gameface on and focus on his test ride today. I'd consider him now out-of-pocket at this point for the weekend as he makes contrails through the Western U.S. states.

I'm hoping we can set up a conference call Tuesday or Wednesday after work for staff to get together.

May the wind be at your back and LEO's eating doughnuts my friend.

Dude! You are whacked! 7 BBGs in a row? It's the apocalypse!

You are certifiable, but I wish you all the luck in the world. Man, if you pull this one off................

Because we can.... if we have the right training, equipment, and most of all, determination.
You go, boy! We'll be with you in spirit, so don't do anything stupid (by your own standards, most would already think you're cracked up).

Damn, not sure what to think now about my own paltry little in-state CA BB(G) coming up, hopefully next week (6/5/07). The real challenge will be pushing hard enough (w/o getting caught) to make it in under 24 hours with two Sierra traverses and afternoon Bay Area traffic in the first half of the ride. Dig a hole, then climb out....

Clovis, Sonora Pass, Monitor Pass, Lodi, Bodega Bay, San Ysidro, Barstow, Clovis. 1550 miles by Google maps with an estimated staight-through drive time of 27 hours. We'll see....
