Warchild First:

While on a ride with 4 other FJR Owners, the subject of FJR repair and the need for a Yamaha Manual was discussed, to which all agreed that you did not need a manual as per all you needed was access to Warchild's Tech Notes. And, that if you could not make the repair after that, then you need to take the bike to the Yamaha dealer anyway.

Then, to a man, everyone agreed that it was time to say thanks to Mr. Warchild; so to you sir, on behalf of the members of this forum and the FJR riders worldwide, we would like to present to you this beautiful 06 blue FJR1300 engraved Carhart Mock Turtleneck shirt.

FJRFORUM1.jpg

It features:

***7.8 Ounce 100% heavy cotton jersey knit

***Lycra-reinforced rib-knit cuffs & collar

***Square bottom with side vents

***Tonal logo embroidery at left bottom hem

You will find that this shirt works great for repairs on the car, rides on the bike or under a sportcoat going to church.

Please PM me your address for mailing after which time I will send you a tracking #

FJRTOM Second:

You Mr. FJRTOM are a classic case of being in the right place at the right time because you were selected because you were the 1st forum member to purchase a 2008 FJR1300. Your shirt was supposed to be black to match your bike but the Carhart black shirt is not a true black but a blackish green color. That color sucks so you will have to contend with a 06A blue color tooo.

Your shirt will be shipped to the address that you gave me 3 or 4 weeks ago and eye will get you a tracking # ASAP.

That's all folks!

Agree, very nice looking! Do I get one for being Post #3 to this thread? I should get one just for living in a town called NORMAL!!!!

Really, are these available anywhere?

Dang, that is nice of you, LSUBOY!

Are you going to NAFO? If so, a free drink of whatever you prefer is on me - I like folks who step up.

..and you just did!

Hey LSUBOY,

First, great looking shirts and very nice gesture on your part. On behalf of all the other Forum members thank YOU.

Secondly, where in Rochester do you live? I lived in Pittsford from 66 to 91. Great areas to ride in during the summer. Expecially the Finger Lakes. Too short a season though. That's why I now live in hotlanta. Jesse

Very cool. 06A blue is better so don't worry about getting the black shirt. I did stop and look at an 08 and I like the FJR in black, great looking bike. You know the 08's have a neat 1300 logo sticker on the front sides.

I know that area well. I have a place in Ft. Myers and know that area well too. Smart guy. Thanks for the reply and ride safe. Jesse

LSUBOY, I do sincerely appreciate the shirt.

The way I feel right now, however, with the way a former vendor here has decided to ruin the FJRForum experience with vindictive pettiness, I am just about ready to punt it all. All forums... all emails lists.... none of this shit hardly seems worth it anymore. Now that he is actively going after the Forum owner and publishing private email he sent to Slappy on his web site, I am just disgusted beyond words.

Maybe this will past, but right now, I seriously, *seriously* feel like just hanging up my Admin cleats here and calling it a game.

Fuckit, I'm going riding.

Dale, that would be a huge loss for all of us that have benefitted from your knowlege and willingness to go out of the way to share it with us. Hope that creeps don't ruin this for you and us. Good luck brother.
