Modules for controlling Go-Pro camera and Smartphone. I wonder about the glove quality and expected longevity of the modules (purchase separately). Looks like a good idea.

No...Some gloves are very vented. Warm gloves on a hot day suck. I have 4 sets that I use reularly. Two summer, two winter, each in different weights.

Not THAT big of a noob. I use pigskin gloves -- not perforated -- that are very wet from sweat after almost any ride except November to February. Can't visualize how mesh gloves are going to protect my tender hands against asphalt.

Most vented gloves are reinforced in the areas that need to be protected.
