I guess I could go search the OEM service manual that you should buy, available only in paper copy legally, btw. I'll be right back.

Here it is:

Coolant drain bolt - m6 bolt. 10Nm or 7.2 ft.lbs

Or.... You could use the same copper washer for the next 100 years.
I have never had a copper washer leak...just saying

Well, my copper coolant drain bolt washer leaked the last time I tightened it. Even snugged it up more than I would have liked to try and stop the slow leak. But nope, so a new one it was.

You could always try

Quote from the 'web' "The process is simple, heat until it glows red, then let it cool slowly in the air. Some confused people advocate "quenching" the washer. Quenching, immersing in liquid, is a way to make metal hard. We want our copper washers to be soft so they can form a good seal".

Quenching copper from red heat actually anneals it.

Mine too Skoot. Tried the same thing and finally gave in and used a new washer...

Mine leaked the last time I tried to reuse it. I have some of that universal white sealing goop, and a tiny blob on the screw threads fixed the problem.

OR, just pull the coolant hose off the pump and don't mess with the bolt at all.

Messier, but no way to screw it up..

You can also flush out the WP much easier with a hose if need be....
