I recently bought a used HeliBar Modified handle bar riser plate and the kit is missing a couple of brass washers used with the extension brake line and banjo part.

I can see many listings on eBay for banjo bolts and copper washers but am having trouble trying to figure out which ones/size I need for a Gen 2.

The various listings seem to specify Gen 1 so I am not sure if there is a difference b/w Gen 1 and Gen 2 washers, I find this hard to believe but would like to make sure before buying them.

Thanks for any suggestions.

First Gen they are Washer Plate 90201-10118-00.

Second Gen they are Gasket 90430-10005-00.

Being the 6th and 7th numbers are "10" on both parts I suspect they are both 10mm ID, and would probably cross fit, but since the rest of the numbers are different I suspect the material and/or OD of the parts may be different.

Most any decent parts store will have an assortment of copper and aluminum crush washers for pennies compared to factory.

Including Harbor Freight.

I bought a sheet of copper with same thickness as the washer. Then I use a drill motor to create the correct ID hole. Then I use a metal punch of larger diameter to make the washer complete. Then I carefully file the edges of any nicks or burrs. Then I use the buffing wheel to polish the completed washer to a brilliant copper shine. Then I install the washer.

Yep, that's how I do it!

They call it Yankee Frugality, West Coast style!
