Hey guy’s newer member here and I have a 2012 fjr with a aftermarket corbin seat. Unfortunately the passenger seat removable backrest is missing the pin or bolt that holds it to the seat. I was hoping that someone on here that has the same seat could measure the fastener that holds the backrest in and tell me exactly what it is.

Common bolt size, nothing special. Same bolt and length ( I think) as the upper adjustor for the backrest. Take the backrest to a hardware store, you should find it there.

Thank you for the reply. The previous owner must have stripped out the threads as there’s none there. That’s why I was thinking it was some special quick release pin.

Jrmguy1,
Don't worry about the threads. Drill to next bolt size and tap new threads.
Easy deal. If you use a quick release pin the backrest will be wobbly.
