Crash detection app

Hi all,

My crash detection app company, EatSleepRide, has just closed its doors. Too bad, they saved my ass years ago and I’ve used them ever since.

Which means I need a new crash detection app. For an iPhone.

Recommendations?

What is a crash protection app and what does it do for you? Never heard of it before.

EDIT: Nevermind, Googled it. If you have an iPhone 14 or above it's built in.

l use Life 360 my wife cam see where I live. But she can see how fast I'm going.

I'd totally forgotten my iPhone 14 has that feature built in. Interestingly, it's never generated a false positive, which EatSleepRide used to do fairly frequently.

Do you know if it's possible to test the Apple crash detector? I've looked online and haven't found a way to do that (I may not be using the right search terms).

I have no idea. I guess you could throw it against a wall and see what happens. But don't do that. LOL

If I crash I know it! My personal body app knows it. Instant notification. Tells my brain instantly I went down. Then it even hurts! It's so cool. No app needed.

Yeah, mine has worked perfectly...twice. No false positives.

Not trying to be a wise ass here but you're missing the point of what the app can do. Like sense that you've been in a crash and notify emergency services and/or your emergency contact with your location if you're laying unconscious in a ditch.
