Keeeyrist! Another Texan?! Man, haven't you got the memo yet down there? Sigh. Welcome, I suppose.

Where you at? Tryin' to scare the noobs off? clown. Don't lose the softy, dude....once I get mine back together we'll go bar hoppin.

Congratulations & good luck ! Remember, it gets way smoother after breakin (we're talkin 5-10k here, not the piddly 600-1000 owners manual 'breakin'). And... it'll take some concerted effort to adjust your riding position for the first few thousand (I came from a cruiser). Enjoy the ride !

Woo Hoo - more Texas FJR riders! Congrats on the new bike - I'm sure you'll love it. :clapping:

I'm near Sherman, off 1417. The "sweet" deal I was quoted turned out to be smoke. So no Feej today.But... I'm not givin' up, lots of other resellers around.

Still in crate, will pickup tomorrow (Friday) assuming the roads aren't washed out.

Will change my Profile to show the new scoot when she's parked out front.

Thanks for all the info and encouragement here!
