Just finished a ten day ride from California to Orlando on my 06 FJR.

I'm in the process of writing up the trip on my blog, located here.

Check it out and leave a comment if you get a chance!

GREAT trip and Fantastic reading.

The fourteen mile detour proved worth it, because we stumbled on to the nearly deserted but excellent Kofa Café.

Places like this fascinate me. Out in the middle of nowhere, with nothing but farmland for miles in every direction is an empty café with seating for seventy five
LOL, yep been there ...and I thought the same thing!!! Had some great conversation with the waitress and talked to a couple of locals as well as a truck driver who came in. the driver says he never misses this place ..hitting it about once a month on a route he does. fun to see it in your trip report.

Five days posted, five days left to go!

Thanks everyone for taking a look!

Hey Frenchie,

Great post and writing.

Any chance the site will allow you to put a link to each day's post? That way we wouldn't have to wait for the whole blooming thing to down load.

If not, oh well, its great reading and why should I be in such a hurry anyway?

Cheers,

7X

7X,

A lot of people asked me to reorder the posts, so now Day 1 is always on top.

Here is the link for each day so far:

https://frenchysrant.blogspot.com/2007/10/c...y-20-day-1.html

If you replace the 'day-1' with the current day I think it will work, until November... then it should be (I'm guessing here) 2007/11/cross-country-day-8.html

Has something to do with Daylight Savings I think.

If not, just click on the archive on the right side.

Thanks for the comments!
