It's going to be 71 degrees today, but rain and thunderstorms all day long........

DAMN YOU!!!! YOU INCONSIDERATE *******!!!!

Picture a layer of ice on all the roads, cover it with several inches of snow then another layer of freezing rain on top the snow. Welcome to New Hampshire today. Wanna trade?

What affect does this have on riding?

Oh, that's simple. We suthna's tend to have little tornadoes mixed in with "71 degrees, but rain and thunderstorms" kinda days. It can sometimes be difficult to keep one's keester firmly planted in the saddle when you're being whisked off to Oz.

I will trade you! We are supposed to get between 4 and 13 inches of new snow in the next 24 hours. SH!T, FOOK, DAMN!!

O.k. I'll take the rain.

I'm not a big fan riding in pouring rain with 30-40 mph wind gusts!!!

70 today in N. Virginia. I got off work early, but was too tired to ride after 3 hrs of sleep?

Tomorrow, 71 and 80% chance of rain!

I don't take off for a joy ride in the rain, I guess I'm a wuss.

My CBR900 looks like I rode MX in the mud!

Last week I rode home from a buddies house on a dirt road in a down pour.

At least I cleaned and lubed the chain.

Try this: In NE Missouri--

Sunday afternoon we has snow with lightning and thunder, mixed with rain and sleet, which turned to pea sized hail, and finally ice like shaved ice which accumulated to about 1 1/2 inch. There were also mini snowballs mixed in for a while.

Monday everything melted because it got up to 64 degrees. That night it went down to 34 degrees. (Last week I saw a temp change of 40+ degrees on 4 hours-- 60 to 17. In 1981 it went from 101 to 30 in less than 24 hours-- or so the old timers claimed at coffee.)

Tuesday high of 38 with rain all day turning to 3 or 4 inches of snow-- 6 to 8 north of me. This weekend calls for -3 degrees.

Hey, this isn't Denver of the Pacific Northwest. This ain't fair.

This time of year I always wonder why I moved from Florida.

How about 10 feet of snow since the first of the year, and winter storm warnings for the rest of the week. But really, down here in the valley only a foot and half on the roof. But it's supposed to finally get above freezing for the weekend and on. Can only hope.

If it wasn't for motorcycles, boats, bbq's, warm weather, girls in bikinis, vacations and the other things of summer. Now where was I going? Oh, yea, Gonna suck without football. Nothing like watching millionaires kick the s--t out of eachother.

58 degrees and dry today in the San Fran bay area. A little frosty this morning though.
Cool (by Houston standards) and clear this morning in the big city. Last night there was a bit of thunder and rain as that big front moved through although there were no tornados around here.

Mid-30s to 40s day and night, here in Indian Territory. But in Terlingua, TX (Big Bend Country) it's 70's in the daytime, and 30s-40s at night, with NO PRECIPITATION. We should all be down there right now, barbecuing a goat.
