They come standard on my new Wing I brought home today... yip, I did it, traded in the FJR for a GoldWing. I will miss the power and handling, but the Wing still has two wheels and I expect to have just as much fun on it as I did the FJR. You all have been great with answering questions and this board is one of the best I have been on, but I'm outta here....

I will have some items going up for sale in the next day or two...

Funny how things go around I went from a GL1800 to a FJR1300 ! Once you get use to the bulk of the Wing you will find it easy to ride and be sporty on. I will be watching for any farkles you might have living next door to SPI. As a matter of fact I will be there over Labor Day weekend for both the Short Track & Springfield Mile. If you come to the short track Saturday night stop by our motorhome parked in the campground on site at the state fair grounds campground. It will be the 2nd RV spot from the ticket booth going into the short track on the south end ticket booth. Plenty of food, cold beer, and GL & FJR riders will be gathered around. The motorhome is a Southwind and will be parked next to the Cozihar motorhome Cozihar who is the H.D. dealer in Decatur, IL. Our motorhome license reads 8 r sav and Cozihar says Cozihar that should help locate me.

BTW if you are interested in another rear wheel & tire for the GL1800 I have one along with a new OEM set of rear brake pads still sealed. You will find the GL1800 will go through 2 rear tires to 1 front. I found this extra wheel & tire very handy to extend your tire mileage. Since the GL has a single sided swing arm it is a 15 min job to switch out.

Wiz--Good luck with the GL 1800. I actually own both, the Wing and the FJR. Very different in many ways but equally reliable and much fun to ride. The seating position is slightly different and the Wing has more goodies but its also much heavier. Have some safe fun on your new ride!
