Looking for a cruise control for my 09. Audiovox or other. PM me with info including price. No throttle locks, I want an actual constant speed cruise control.

I've got an original new Audiovox CC in the box that I bought about a year ago from the forum. I've also got a real nice aluminum mounting bracket for it as well. If I sell, I'd like to sell them together. Not sure what I paid for it all, but I've been thinking about selling it as I'm just too lazy to install it... it seems. Send me a pm if you're still in the market.

pm sent

OK, here it is. I'd like to sell both the cruise and the aluminum control mount. I have about 240 invested in them. I'd like to get that plus shipping. Make me an offer. Thanks for looking.

if the bracket (or anyone else with a bracket) is wanting to sell just that, let me know. I have 2 cc's (one as a backup) and the bracket would be nice.

Bounce:

Yeah, the bracket is nice. however, looks like Hornet Pilot wants to buy the whole shebang. Looks like it's sold. Thanks for looking.

Wondering what ever happened to Jack D who started this thread. Haven't heard from him.

pretty soon

While I'm thinking about it, looks like I'm also going to have a Gen 1 Corbin with a backrest and a Eastern Beaver PC-8 for sale pretty soon as well. My new Sergeant is working out pretty well and I decided not to hassle with the Eastern Beaver. I'll be putting up a post soon.

In the automotive world, electric actuators are gobs better than vacuum operated. Does that hold true with these also?

I'd like to get as precise control as possible, minimum deviation from set speed (esp above)

The Audiovox CCS-100 vacuum cruise has been around for years and has proven to be very reliable. They will hold speed within 2-3 MPH if set up correctly. I think it’s a little easier to install than the electronic Rostra.

You can still buy them new from Murph’s https://www.murphskits.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=25&products_id=422

The electronic Rostra is the better choice for high altitudes.

Looks like there was a cruise control response to my ad but it's been sold to someone else while I was traveling. The ultimate thread theft.
