be sure and tell them that's there is a lot of folks on this forum that really like the AE, myself included . i don't honestly have a clue of why yamaha even developed yccs?????, but i like mine. i'm older [63] and always use the paddles to shift,,,,, but ,,,,, my foot ALWAYS goes under the foot lever when i start off, habit i guess. the bottom line is i'd buy another if something happened to mine[hurricane,fire, theft].

Hmm, just got the article in the mail yesterday. They rode an 06 AE almost 12,000 miles to say exaclty the same thing they said when it launched. They quoted one editor from their "logbook" of entries that each staff member apparently adds comments to whenever they take a bike for a ride. Lame!!!! What did the others say?

They also noted nearly every owner who commented said they absolutely loved the bike. Interesting juxtaposition.
