Cylinder Problems?

Are FJR's known to have cylinder problems? Could that be one reason not to buy an FJR? Or is this only a matter for older FJR's? Are the new FJR's improved? Thanks.

Valve Giude Wear problems on a few,if that's what you mean. Seem's to no longer be a problem, alot was made of it here and everybody dreaded getting the "tick" but if you had it it was fixed, even out odf warranty. Other than that, they're pretty much bulletproof. Most of do us all our maintenance too, so it's simple as well as tough. Maybe that's why most of the board are fanatical about their bikes
