That damn mutt of mine did it again

That POS climbed on my bike in the garage and got in my tank bag.

Damage = one pair of $150 gloves now a $75 glove

A $90 heat troller eaten Hey, Ionbeam, think you can fix it (again)

Hat eaten

claw marks all over the tank /fairing

screwdriver/toolkit eaten

tire repair kit eaten

spare grease tube eaten

talcum powder eaten (If you have to ask why this is in a tank bag, you don't ride far enough in a day)

several small things still yet to be found in the back yard.

He is lucky I have kids or he would be gone.

His dog door is closed permanently now as this was his second (last) chance after he ate my sliders and Iron Butt tag frame.

Hope he likes the cold as winter is coming

Sometimes pets suck. But I'm most concerned about this...

spare grease tube eaten
My recommendation is to not let him inside the house for awhile. Dogs with well-lubricated, leaky ***** don't do well with carpet.

How... nevermind, I don't want to know..

I had a Siberian and when she was a pup, she got into the basement. She managed to chew through a 50 foot extension cord (luckily, it wasn't plugged in at the time). After I cleaned up the ends and spliced it back together. Seemed shorter, so I measured it. Damn thing was now 40' long. I MIGHT have trimmed off 6" of it during the splice....

That sounds exactly like a white Lab I had.

But to this day, my favorite screwdriver is the one that she had chewed on the handle.

It's got good grip even when your hands are greasy...

Aw, the poor little puppy just wants to share your motorcycle hobby with you.

Kids or no kids, I'd be havin' a heart to heart with old Cujo and letting him know the next time he even LOOKS at my bike he's going for a long one-way ride in the car

Cheap solution: 50¢ - the cost of a .357 round.

That'll teach ya to keep jerky in the tank bag.

Jeebus!
Are you sure he is a dog?? Sounds like the pet shop sold you a minature billy goat!

 :lol2: :good:

I notice there wasn't any mention there of him eating your dirty laundry....that would have taught him a lesson.

Well your dog must not be as shy around your bike as he was me. Is he related to JWilly's rescue dog?

I have a dog that does similar things. One time I caught her on the roof of my Porsche and another time I caught her inside the car. She had jumped through an open window. I also saw her claw her way out the other window as I was attempting to get to her. Yes she is still alive but walks with a pronounced limp. :butcher:

The same dog also ate a CD once.

Gotta love em, if not ya gotta kill em.

There's always dog obedience class, and take family, that are old enough, with you(The school is more to teach the owners proved methods, and constancy).

I had my best boots ever (back in the 70's),toe chewed out, while I was house sitting. My fault for not sleeping with them on.

You could tie his leash to the bike and take him around the block a couple of times National Lampoon style.

You don't have to kill him, just put some fear in him. :D

Scab likes dogs, if you know where he lives, might drive by there some dark and stormy night.
