I admit to kissing mine lovingly on the tank while fondling its hindquarters, but only after a good ride, heck I didn't want anyone to think I was just a perv.

After I bought it and rode home I parked it in the driveway, pulled up a lawn chair and just stared at it while drinking two cold ones.

The next day when I hit the fast rural corners I fell in love and I just cant' help myself.

What an amazing machine.

Yeah, we both love the feej looks, styling and handling. Even caught the GF eyeballin her the other day. :dribble:

Going from a 1700SF shop to a one car garage, I find I only have room to work on bikes. Very enjoyable. Unfortunately, my '04 hasn't seen my garage yet, broke down on the way back from picking it up. It will be here next week, and I look forward to spending the winter with her.

My wife isn't jealous, she likes to ride almost as much as me!

rwenck, what's an FRJ? ;)

Sounds like a great little Ménage à trois!

I have shown my Feejer so much love during my ownership, I actually have (for the first time) nothing in the "Farkles to install" list.

Yeah, I know. But times are tough. Money is short. And the ski season is just around the corner. ;)

Now that ya mention it, I been thinkin' about an automatic seat shaver, so I can get that clean cropped sphincter while on the road. But I might need some help setting up the clearances. I figgered I'd shoot up to the big hand job mitten state in the spring...

Ah ya silly arse! Ya got no sense of Geography do ya? It's over to the "Mitten State" from yer place  Let me know when you "might" arrive............ I need to get a fresh set of blades fer a newbie shave ;) Plus I have to make room on the Schedule, as the Shaved Anus syndrome is really takin' off!

Yeah, yeah... It's just a funny colloquialism we New Englanders have. You know, like when your goin' "down east" it means your actually headed to Northern Maine. When you go "up" to someplace it doesn't have to be north. Or even uphill.

That's just how the wicked cool people talk here. ;)

It's OK. It's not your fault. It's a disease. Just take a ride regularly to avoid symptoms of withdrawal.

Speaking of farkles does anyone know where to get studded snow tires for the feej? Then I can just keep riding all winter long.

Be careful! I made the mistake of letting my fiancee ride the FJR home one day. We were out on a cold day, and she was riding my VTX, which has no shield. She was complaining about being cold, so I took pity on her and suggested she try the feej to get her home more comfortably. Now she wants to ride it all the time! Ain't gonna happen!

Hi guys and gals. It's raining gently in the Yakima Valley (not that that stops me from riding) so I decided to change my oil, filter and plugs today. Just hangin in the garage, some tunes playin on the stereo, just me , her and some tools. I don't even have to be ridin her to enjoy her. Just being in her presense makes me well up with pride and satisfaction. No other machine has givin me so much fulfillment. Just wondering if anybody else feels this way about their FJR?

Your not alone...I cant stay off the bike. Im always just looking at it. Like an 8 year old with a new bicycle. And what a better illness to have....

RR

Every time I walk by it in the garage I give her a pat and tell her "Mighty FJR". I am sure she hears me and understands and appreicates my adulation.

Been away for a week, so I'm late gettin' on board here! I know this will come as a shock, but I, too, LOVE my FJR. For the first time in my life with bikes (6 previous), I can finally say I have the one bike I crave above all others. There is no other bike . . . . NONE! . . . that I would rather have in my driveway. It's a great feeling. :yahoo:

O.K. you lost me, kissing a bike is a little over the top. But when my pirate friends tease me about my rice burner, I just smile. They just don't get it. It's a zen thing.
