Nice!

Oh, don't bother with that radar detector. I hear those things don't work anyway. Just send it to me and I'll dispose of it in a safe & environmentally-friendly manner....

Wow!!

You say that Busa seems pretty fast huh.?..?..?

Thats a new one for sure....

I just noticed that the sky is blue!!!

Haha!!

Beware one thing with wickedly fast bikes like that: slowing down from much higher speeds than you expect.

Problem is that even though the FJR is fast, when you grab a handful of that Busa for the same familiar time, you're going 20 or 30 mph faster than you instinctively know at first and that's significant to your braking distance, even with great brakes. You get used to it fast enough, but at first, hyper bikes will fool you that way.

Oh yeah -- the OTHER thing to beware: LEOs with speed measuring technology.

Yes they are way quicker then the FJR, you do not want to grab a full throttle it will come up real fast.

I can ride on the freeway in 1st gear if i wanted to. Busa clames it will 0-60 in 2 seconds...

I love ther 6th gear in her.... Why wont Yamaha do that for the FJR??? I was in 6th today on freeway doing 80MPH and only doing 3 K on the Tach. My FRJ was 5 on the tach at 80...

Radar Dectors....They tell you that you are picking up a frequency SO yes if they are Lasering you you screwed...

Sometimes they are a good warning. It mostly is just a reminder when it goes off to slow up or at least look at speedo..

something is alway better then nothing....

Congrats on the new bike; my eyes say yes, yes yes! My neck, shoulders and back say (let someone else ride that thing). :)

Jeff - I'm sure for the break-in period the manual said, "Do not exceed 175MPH for the first 500 miles. :D

BTW - I would get radar detectors at front and rear, just to cover your bases. ;)

You best get to know many LEOs, or a judge, or a good lawyer.... :p
