We owe a debt of great gratitude to this guy, we all could have done that and got hurt if he hadn't shown us just what would happen. After all, who could have imagined that might be the outcome. I for one wont be doing ANY more ramp jumps into a skip full of foam. I was thinking about it for this weekend but nope, it's off the list now.

That takes a very special kind of stupid.

That is soooo facked up... :)

Yeah, with a street bike, that's awesome.

This video has been around a while, if anyone is familiar with him, it was actually filmed at Travis Pastrana's house/ riding dreamland. TP is pretty famous in the dirt world for being a multi time MX nat'l champ and ultra endurance racer -google Erzberg Enduro- He also makes DVD's called Travis and the Nitro Circus doing some wicked stuff on a MX bike like a double backflip. The guy on the bike is one of his Circus Posse regulars. I assure you this is not some squid, although he did get pretty jacked up. good find though :thumbsupsmiley:

I see your point, although I suppose it hinges on what your defination of Squid is. I usually define a squid as a person who owns a bike (very different from a 'rider' or 'motorcyclist') and has no training or expierence but thinks he can replicate the Biker Boyz YouTube videos. Gear is optional, if worn it must be expensive, brightly colored and covered in company logos a la Johnny repli-racer.

While this guy is caught on tape totally botching a very risky and foolish stunt, if you see the whole DVD he knew exactly what he was doing and was well aware of the risk. He was also paid well in the form of royalties from the DVD sales. Travis, the guy on the edge of the pit and who owns the house, didn't leave him twisting in the wind. The video is quite entertaining, they are attempting some stupid , make that REALLY stupid stuff, but all are professional or at least among the most talented freestyle/extreme riders out there. I'm not advocating or defending him, he really fcuked up that one, but at least they aren't wheelie-ing down an interstate and standing on the tank. There is also a huge disclaimer at the begnning. Do-not-try-this-at-home type stuff.

Reminds me of a old 60's song "he ain't stupid, he's my brother" NOT! You suppose it's guys like him why some health insurance companies are now giving riders a hard time w/ coverage?
