A bit of info for anyone considering fitting this.

If the wrong wire is connected to earth, no voltage shown. Just switch the wires around.

Could not find any mention in the instructions - thought I had a dud meter - consequently I spent ages before I realised

Also for future reference... as long as you don't exceed the specs of the meter, wiring them backwards won't cause any harm (it just won't work).

If I'm not mistaken, the meters with one decimal can take up to 50 volts and the ones with 2 decimals can take up to 20 volts. Either way, you should be safe if you're only dealing with automotive/motorcycle voltage.
