Death Valley April 17-18

Hey all my FJR friends; Went to Death Valley this weekend! If you guys go, watch out there are a lot of freshly tarred roads and this **** sticks, so get that tar remover handy!

Thanks for the info, but since I don't see any photos I don't think you went. I was hoping to see all the flowers I didn't get to see when I went last month. :unknw:

I'm heading that way this Friday with 2 other riders, but we are staying out of DV in Beatty, NV for 2 nights.

I hear the road to Scotty's Castle is torn up as well.

Maybe I'll try to post some pics of our adventure - never tried it before though.

I was there April 9th and 10th.

The road to Scotty's was indeed the one with the most construction.

What wasn't newly asphalted, was down to one lane.

In some stretches the entire road was torn out, we were escorted via the underlying dirt roads.

guess they are fixin the roads after we fked them up last month with our incredible riding...lol

Now that's a proper ride report. Nice photos, thanks! When I see ride photos it always inspires me to do more riding. This year was my first time to Death Valley. I went solo because I seem to only have days off during the week. It was a great trip and I can't wait to return. unk:
