Thank you to all of you for your good wishes. I am truly amazed at how well Deena help up. Most of the mothers in the birthing center look very worn out, but Deena recoverred very quickly and is in very good spirits.

Geezer, watch out for Fred W, he will be looking for that celebratory cigar...

Fred is too particular about his cigars to smoke anything I would buy.

They are not planning on NERDS this year. My son-in-law Tom, who is married to Deena's sister will be there on his Honda. I'm looking forward to taking him through Smuggler's Notch in the dark.

I remember meeting you and Deena for the first time at Mike Carpenter's WV Ramble in 2006.

I'm so glad that both of them are okay...that's the most important thing.

That was a great ramble, but the daughter with me that time was Deena's older sister Danielle. Danielle has my first grandchild, Gus, who is now about 2 and a half. They grow up too fast.

Geezer aid sounds like a good idea, but Deena is very particular about food and drink so I'll probably have to sneak it.

I hope you and Jane are enjoying your cross country ride. Let us know how things are going when you have time. You sure picked a hot week to get started. Stay hydrated.
