Deep Sea Fishing in the Gulf Area

Looking to do a private charter deep sea fishing in the Destin, Florida area.

Any tips or recommendations as too a charter outfit to choose from some locals.

I don,t mind dropping some coin as this will be my wifes 60th birthday gift and she has never done this but loves to fish.

I could help you out if you were to move a bit West and go out of Louisiana but I have almost no knowledge of the Florida fishermen. There should be enough information online to get you started in the right direction.

Any idea what fish you wish to target?

I did search google and the choices are huge

As for fish any thing above say 8 pounds or so.

My wife loves to fish and we have done the Canada fly in thing and thought we would try this

Destin is the capital of fishing here on the panhandle. There are charter boats all the way across the panhandle, Pensacola to Port St. Joe, but Destin has the highest density, I think.
