OK I've reviewed the crash reports of other members. A search didn't turn up any info on use.
You may have seen the report from Modoc County, California transportation department regarding free trial distribution and results showing some evidence of reduced deer / vehicle collisions. There are other reports from the North East somewhat similar.
You may have seen other reports saying there's no evidence deer whistles work.
There's cheap stick on versions or electronic units. For the stick on style, you have to keep them covered (one rider told me use panty hose!) to keep bugs out. Dawn and dusk are most vulnerable times but can happen anytime. They aren't magic - i.e. slow down in dangerous areas and beware.
Finally the question: anybody installed them on an FJR and what's your experience been? Thanks.
