Defective PR2

Situation update:

I heard back from Jake Wilson yesterday. They left me a message on my home phone (yes, we still live in the dark ages and have a land line) and they also sent me an email with explanation of all details. They decided to replace my failed tire under warranty 100%. They have already drop shipped me a new, replacement tire (will arrive late next week) and emailed me a pre-paid UPS label to return the defective one. They did warn me that if I failed to return the old one that I would be charged for the new one, which seems fair to me considering they're paying for the return.

Now, that is what I call customer service, people!!

I will be throwing them more of my business in the future, no doubt.

PS - I think part of their willingness to cover it was the fact that I included a description of the failure and the two pictures posted above. But I'm wondering if they contacted MIchelin and maybe heard from them that it has happened before...
