Delivery promised for 06

Dealer said June for my 06 AE. Official from Yamaha.

My 05 came in on time as promised.

I am not so sure about the AE getting here even one month later than projected.

Yamaha is having a banner year with their new 600 and have delayed the deliveries of the FZ1 because of it.

I wonder if this affects the FJR line as well.

They have factories all over the world, not sure where each model is made.

Yamaha of Cucamonga notifed me today my AE will be delivered in May. I ordered on the first hour of the first day ordering was open but I can't remember the date. Yahoo!!

My dealer (in Arkansas) faxed me a copy of Yamaha's "Dealer Claims Currently Available" notification from their YDS website (For dealers only).

It says the "Est.Delivery Month" is June. I ordered my AE on 10/06/2005 @09:14.

At least now I know an AE will eventually arrive! It's official.

I feel confident that I will be back in the saddle in early April. But you can bet your last buck, I will be back on the practice parking lot doing lots of slow speed turns, directional control and braking exercises. Would really hate to go through this heart deal and then break some bones!!
