One truly interesting piece of information as reported by the AP (5/13/2009) that HD was/is considering shuting down its York PA facility and shifting production to Mexico. That would have the "Buy American" crowd rolling in horse manure. The "New" would have to read "Made in North America."

Many years ago, I was riding with a buddy of mine who at the time rode a Victory V92, we pulled up to a restruant and one of the local HD douches came up and yelled at us to get rid of the "Riceburners" and get a REAL American bike.
At which time my friend calmly pointed out that his bike was totally made in America and hoped that they enjoyed their HD's with their Japaneese Electrical system's german suspenion and parts made in China.. LOL
I rode my V92 for 4+ years and heard this Jap crap from the Hardley group all the time. I would always think when these dumb ***** open their mouth was "what hole did this ****** come out of".

It always amazes me that these so called dedicated American made Rubs have no problem jumping in their Jap made truck with a Harley sticker proudly displayed in the back window. Hello! :dribble:
