If there's a party, I'm in. Never riden the "Devil's Triangle" before. Sounds like fun. Obviously, some of ya'll know each other. It'll be nice to meet ya'll. I know we have at least one thing in common.

You guys must eat here...

I am seriously considering making this one of my planned rides for '08. If there are other riders interested in adding a day's worth of riding, please raise your hand. I see that Keithaba is already planning 2 days. Very cool... if I were to ride with Keith, we could start working our way north on the 2nd day.

Anyway, just thinking out loud. This isn't my gig. But I think that I may start serious planning to join in.

Y'all should stop picking on me about my trailer. It's a nice trailer! :)

Seriously, the only way I can make it west in the winter time without the huge risk of riding sunrise/sunset hours through Bambi country, is with a trailer. And as Wayne said, it helps my tires last long enough to finish the weekend.

:)

I may stay Sat. also and ride Sunday back to north Ga if anybody's interested.

Don't worry about trailering, its smart.

When I had my CBR600 then VFR I did it all the time.

Trailer early/dark/cold to the mtns while drinking coffee then ride hard all day in the mtns and trailer home dark/cold/tired in the pm.

Save wear and tear on your bike/tires and yourself.

I see this b.s. on various forums about trailering.

Please, I ride over 20,000 miles every year weather I trailer or not.

Why waste your tires on the slab and risk hitting deer on boring roads?

I should trailer more often!!

Steve

Short Hijack... Dads, the cutie comment about the trailer is all in good fun... as in teasing my friend, Jeff "Haulin' a trailer" Ashe... & for sure, he knows that I'm teasing him.

Please don't take the ribbing personally. You might make Jeff feel better about trailering his bike around.

Back to the regularly scheduled program.................

I wasn't planning on trailering, but Steve (and my wife) talked me into it. I guess that means the old lady is planning on comming along. Ya'll can make fun of me too while I sip my hot coffee inside my warm truck.

Hehehehe!

This is starting to look like a fun ride. I've been wanting to do that loop for awhile.

Just for the record... I might be a redneck, but I ain't eatin no possum. If eatin possum is required for attendance, then y'all have a good time without me.

Now Miss Kitty on the other hand...

:)

Has anything new come up on this trip?

I'm going to preview the ride before-hand to make sure of the route, and make sure no construction or detours are there to goof up the ride. Right now it's still a go.

What's up with this ride?

Who's going?

Anybody interested in staying Sat. night and riding Sunday? likely a scenic-brisk (10-20over) ride to north Ga.

Steve

I'm thinking about it! Looks like fun. Are we doing Saturday and Sunday or just Saturday?

Luvtoride - when are you heading down, taking Friday off?

Hola Jay, I have kinda' ruled this ride out since it has appeared to be staying a 1 day ride. The ride to Knoxville is a long one. Much further than I'm willing to go for a day ride... but if I were going... yes, I'd leave on Friday,
