Sun in the forecast so Jeff my old AOG friend and I decided to run up Hwy 20 for something to do.
A cold 27 degrees to start a great day!
After breakfast at Ellie's at the Arlington airport we rode out 530 to catch 20 Rockport.
Jeff following on his RK.
Had to park the bikes at the entrance.
Snow got pretty thick in the lot so didn't bother walking down to take a picture of Diablo Lk as it's been shown here a bunch.
Great shot looking into the Cascades.
The best pat of the day was the ride up and down from Newhalem, there was a ton of these Icicles!
These weren't close to the nicest but the Rd isn't in the best condition for stopping and acting like Tyler!
We rode down to Concrete and stopped for a Mocha and Muffin. We then rode down the South Skagit Hwy then down Hwy 9 to home.
Never saw 30 degree's the whole day. The next day I celebrated my 71st with my son his wife and their three kids.
A good start to my 72nd year I'd say.
