I've installed these on two 06 FJRs. Installation is straight forward, just follow the directions. I would suggest that you power them through a switched fuse panel. And they work quite well.

Great i get to add them to my Xmas list then :dribble:

I have them on my 07, not quite plug and play but not to bad of a job. I put a relay up front by the controler and powered it off a wire that only powers up after the motor is running. I had to use my dremal to cut the stock control pug as the honda unit is smaller. Unit works great and a hundred dollars cheaper

I have them on my 07 and have no regrets. They provide plenty of heat even through the grip puppies I have installed. The controller looks nice and I like the power shed mode that will cut power to the grips if your battery is not getting charged enough.

Part number for 2004 Honda ST1300 heated grips:

Thanks guys& thanks for the link. Im hopping for the kit to be under the c-tree the 25th ha ha

Easy to install if you used a switched fuse panel - I set mine up using a Fuzeblock FZ1. I've had both the Honda and Yamaha heated grips - Honda is a lot better product than the Yamaha (in my opinion) and a lot less expensive.

I would also recommend utilizing a Fuzeblock to distribute power. Better to set it up right from the start. Most will find themselves having to add some type of distribution system after a few years of farkles anyway.

I originally utilized the factory wires left on all models to use for the Yamaha heated grips. I then had so many wires up in the nose of the bike that I added the Fuzeblock and cleaned it all up a few winters back.
