I recently bought a new FJR from a dealer who had one posted on Ebay. The dealer is Rock River Power Sports in Jefferson Wisconsin. There were about (5) 2005 FJRs on Ebay at the time, some of which were used. Opening bid was $10,995 and there were no bids. I called them two days before auctions end to see if they would sell it for opening bid. It turns out thay had 2 '05 ABS FJRs and agreed to sell the other one to me one off Ebay for $10,995. They also gave me the 4 year YES for $200 and shipped it to me in Massachusetts for an additional $399.00. So, for $11,661 (I got the shipping insurance) I now have a new '05 ABS FJR. The FJR they still had on Ebay got only 1 bid , so it was scooped up for opening bid of $10,995.

I picked mine up last Friday. Today in Massachusetts the temps got up into the low fifties. I took it out for a short ride to show it to a friend. The bike now has only 9.2 miles.

My response from this first ride....." OH MY GOD!!!!!!, YEAH BABY!!!!"

A fine job of negotiating on your part, both for the bike and the YES. I also bought an '05 off a dealer floor, and while I didn't get the bargain basement price you got, I got a very fair deal considering I picked mine up last March and rode it all summer.

It will be interesting to see how many can get the '06 without waiting.

I got mine....and I checked the engine code, first thing. Nope, I didn't get one of the French detuned engines, thank Gawd!

...okay, its an '05 and I've had it a year+, but I got mine.

Nice deal. Looks like they treated you right on the Y.E.S. as well.

Good luck with it.

Make sure you add yourself to the member map so we can all hook up in the spring/summer for a nice ride.

I have an '06 on order so I'll have to wait til I get it. I got it for 11,900 OTD.

Back to being a waiter.

There is two new 05 A's at Chicago Cycle in Skokie, IL. for anyone looking.

Asking 11,800 but they seemed ready to deal.

Congrats! You will LOVE it...

Now go out and put a few more miles on it during the annual "January thaw"...

Sure do luv mine!!! Looked for a long time on ebay and found one in my back yard.

Got it for $9500 (05 w/o ABS) with 150 miles on it AND included the YES...

Now if I can just get to Reno...

I really wanted that bike, I ended up finding another at a different dealer , but Mike at Rock River was great to deal with. The hang up for me was selling my FZ1, and I had to watch both his sell on E-bay while a tire kicker had me twisting in the wind. I talked to Mike several times, and am planning on buying my next new bike from him, and will look him up on the YES also. When he had no FJR's, he spent over a week trying to find me one, even offering to work HIS price at a dealership if it was closer to my house. I did find a new '05 Abs somewhere else on my own, and regret not dealing through him. That dealer was a complete ******, adding a $75 "document fee" to my OTD price, and then didn't even fill out the title.

Rock River Powersports gets a  from me.

PowerHouse in Paso Robles has an 05 on the pedastel..

Never mind my drool..

Signed,

Waiting on the 06..
