What are the differences between California and none California FJR's and are Washington FJR's the same as the California bikes.

I'd bet Washington State bikes are faster and smoother than lean running Cali bikes, but Canadian bikes are faster than either. And it has nothing to do with our odometers being in kilometers.

The Cali bike is a one state bike ......which we have the privilege of paying 2k more for than the other 49 states.. for a small smog can , 3 feet of hose and a special sticker !! :angry2:

Yep, just a charcoal canister, so we can filter escaping fuel vapors and make the world a better place. I've added an aftermarket one to my butt.

Gosh, Highlander, think how cheap your '06 would have been without the extra 2k.... and quit your bitchin'! :glare:

Luckily, I got my '04 used from another state. :yahoo:

What good is it to have the fastest FJR if Sargent Preston won't let you go over 45 mph?? And, hell, his lead dog KING can run faster than that!

Heck, your hockey pucks :nhl: go faster than that!

No we "share" lanes in Ca. and you mean we can't share lanes in other states? No one told me...PM. <>< :dntknw:

With so many great rides in our state we don't need to leave California Did I mention it was 80 degrees this weekend? :yahoo:

It was 85 here in Victorville today (high desert above San Bernardino)

I hope this isn't a harbinger of what's in store for this summer...

In the Sacramento Valley it gets toasty (frequent enough 100+ June-Aug) as a newbie I wonder how warm my 2007 is going to get.

The Washington bikes only have 650 cc's because you just can't go that fast in the rain. lol from a former Washingtonian :D

I assume you found your answer in the middle of the jocularity:
