Differences in pannier size/ shape?

Hi all, I was looking to get the side pannier

inner bags, and have seen online 2 versions, pre 2006, and 2006

onwards. I guess this reverers to Gen 1 and Gen 2 models?

My question is, did the side pannier size or

shape change between models? Thus different version

inner bags? Thanks

I believe they are all the same except colour.

I believe that there may be a difference between the Gen I and Gen II saddlebags. I bought some Gen I bags from a fellow FJR Forum member and found that they seem to be a bit larger than the interior of the Gen II saddlebag. I know that the Gen II saddlebags are mounted closer to the bike than the Gen I's. The liners are, however, very high quality.

I might have some for you. I can only find 1 at the moment, should have the 2nd somewhere. I don't use them. Mine are from Gen 1. I'll try to find the other one for you if you haven't gotten some already.

The '09 is up to 640 lbs!!??? I have an '06. Where is all that extra weight coming from?

In '09 they started stating the "wet" weight. '06 published weights are "dry"
