Dirt-biking in the desert

I really want to get into dirt biking and get the kids into it too. I told the wife I could start them when they were three years old and I got the "look".

If anyone is going dirt biking, has an extra bike and would like to take along a noob let me know. I really want to go!

If you want to come hang out with us this weekend, we'll be at Ocotillo Wells, close to the Salton Sea. Andy and I are tent camping and a couple of friends are bringing trailers. You can take a ride on my new bike if you like. Andy might let you ride the WR250 too.

Dirt is where it's at. No cages, more exercise (a lot more!), more sliding, more scenery, no speed limits making your trip boring. Plus, next time you go you'll know to ride behind the new guy so you can watch the show. Nothing as much fun as watching a greenhorn getting his sand legs.

I started my boy at 3 and he is 9 now and tearing up the desert.

Mark your calendar, and send me a PM. We're aiming to go every other weekend until the weather gets too hot. DVD is my weekend to work (hence the fact that I'm not going). We'll be camping the following weekend, all being well and every other one after that.
