Instructables is a well-known site where users offer step-by-step instructions on how to do stuff - roast a turkey, precisely carve a pumpkin, build a zipline - pretty much anything.

One of today's entries was a post on making your own heated motorcycle gear. The instructions include the theory behind resistance heating, a specific list of materials, and a step-by-step guide on how to roll your own heated gear. It may be something fun to do on those cold, winter weekends.

Ya man... who ya gonna sue when you spontaneously combust if you make yer own electric garments?

Cool (warm) idea though... I like good ole fashioned ingenuity...
