If they put the 15 lbs. in the right spot? -- it may end-up helping their performance (low cg -- and all that....)?

It worked for Suzuki years ago when GSXRs were required to add weight -- they put in the most effective/advantageous place and kept on winning. :)

Denny Eslick is a home town (Tulsa, OK) boy.

When they got around to weighing, it was already the 15 lbs. heavier.

Which means Danny will just keep on winning!

If you really want to appreciate just how mind-bendingly pointless this is, the Buell was never able to reach its weight limit, the new limit just reflects how much the bike already weighed. DMG is just scurrying to try to make it look like they're reacting to everyone noticing "1125-600=... wtf."

Nice to know my FZ6 can hang with the big Buell (nothing I didn't already know).

Yep looks real fair having them run the Buell with the 600's. If it wasn't for the Aprilla motor they would still be in last place.
