don't try to outrun this guy

He's the guy you hire to film you running Deal's Gap - He's known as Yellow Wolf and his bike has the suspension tuned to perfection. Last year he ran the Gap some 100+ times within 24 hours trying for an Iron Butt - however was disqualified because to achieve the task required that he be speeding - and that's a no-no in the IBA.

He is available for hire to film you plodding (relative to his abilities) through the gap. That's the bike he rides to film the crotch rockets, none of whom can ever outrun him. He knows every turn, bump, scratch, pebble and more because that's what he does for a living.

Having said that, the Goldwing is plenty powerful and, like almost any machine is plenty manoeuverable in the hands of an expert.

Never rode one, but just because the Wing LOOKS like a rolling easy chair, and maybe because that's why a lot of GW riders buy it, I've been told it's a very capable performing machine. I'd say this vid proves it.

He does'nt have the yellow GW anymore.

I demo'd one a couple of years ago. Supercharge the thing and it could be a blast. Suprisingly nimble for a big bike. But momma prefers the fjr.

I was at the Gap with BugR in 2006 when YellowWolf filmed him running the Gap. He said the guy was insanely good...couldn't shake him at all. He'd film him from behind....then PASS him and film him from the front as well. :D
