Downfall The Movie

Hi gang

Just went to see a movie called Downfall which is about the final days of Hitler from the Germans perspective. Interesting show I recommend go and see it. He was a madman in the end obviously a very sick man and even thought some tried to persuade him to give it up others followed blindly right to the end. Some of the players have only died just recently. The guy who played Hitler was excellent and very believable.

Oh and it is subtitled but it's not that taxing!

I rented it on DVD, and thought it excellent. Actually, the subtitles were needed because the movie is all in German, which, to me, added an authenticity to it. Found the same thing when I rented Das Boot in the original German with subtitles-nuances in the German language that a translation just couldn't touch.

I too recently rented the DVD, very intense and extremely well done flick, highly recommended.
