Hey Guys!,

Went for a ride with my wife today for our 19th wedding anniversary. We were down in Savanna, IL. I went to stop at the curb on a hill and the ground was slippery and I lost my footing.

We got out of the way and my beloved FJR fell on it's right side, breaking my front right foot peg and scratching my right saddlebag. Thankfully I had frame sliders and it saved the plastic up front...

What year FJR front foot pegs are interchangeable and does anyone have a right side driver foot peg to sell?

Thanks in advance...

Bummed,

can ping me at: [email protected] if you have a stock foot peg they want to unload at a reasonable price.. Thanks.

Just call Gary at Mondak Motorsports and order the parts you need. Tell you are from the Forum and he will treat you even better. I had to change both left-side pegs recently and the parts are not all that expensive. Be sure, though, to salvage anthing you can off the old peg. Yamaha sells every bit of it (peg frame, springs, pin, rubber inset, bolts that hold rubber insert, etc.) separately and you can probably re-use some of what you have.

Excellent!! I saw that there were several parts that survived. It was the main eyelet frame on the peg that broke.

I will contact him.. THANKS!!!!!

Ordered from Gary at Mondak. He's Top Notch :clapping:

Thanks!, I'll remember that NEXT time I need to get some. (Hope there isn't a next time. )

To directly answer your question, all years footpegs are interchangeable. I've bought a couple used for parts off fleabay.

I try to have a used one in my parts bin, so when I need new rubber or a spring flies through the air (never to be seen again) I just pull a peg down and cannabalize it.

Sorry you dropped your bike , dam sooner or later it seems to happen to everyone. So easy to do. Oh well fix her up and move on. good luck

Hey Thanks. Parts for the footpeg should be here by the end of the week. As for the saddlebag cover. I'll have to keep my eyes out for an 07 Right side bag or lid cover. It's a bummer but hey, could have been worse.
