I purchased an '06 from Warhorse, but the PDP was actually placed by another (former?) member of this forum. The purchase price was $11,500 (plus $50 for the manufacturer certificate of origin minus one free hat :) ). I picked the bike up on May 20, it arrived at the dealer on May 18. I was told the bike would be ready at 1:30 the day I picked it up, according to the mechanic it was ready by 8AM(important later).

Thats the good news. Now keeping in mind that someone else purchased the PDP, so the dealer is limited in what information they could provide to me, the sales people I dealt with were generally a pain in the butt. I knew I was purchasing the bike months ago, so did the dealer. I tried to call them numerous times to get an estimate on the delivery date, and always received the same line "I am with a customer right now, let me call you back. Whats your number?". Never got a call back. :angry2:

Most of my information came from the guy that originally purchased the PDP. He called me on Wednesday May 18 and said the bags were in, I called the shop on Thursday and managed to find out the bike was in. OK, now its time to transfer plates, get insurance, and secure the loan - so I need the VIN. What do I get? "Yes the bike is here, I am with a customer right now, let me call you back". Friday afternoon rolls around, still no call. :******: 's

So back on the phone again with a salesman named Sandy (the salesman that originally sold the bike is out on vacation, so now its whomever answers the phone), if you ever deal with these guys remember that name. I ask Sandy about getting the VIN and he says let me connect you with Dave the sales manager. Now Dave may be the sales manager but he sure didn't get the job with his personality. I have talked with this guy many times in the past, he is the absolute king of "I am with a customer right now, let me call you back. Whats your number?". Every frickin time I talk to him this is what I get. So I tell Sandy don't bother connecting me with that guy, he is a black hole of information. After a pregnated pause Sandy says "OK, I am going to call you back after I finish with my customer". Guess what, he called me back! I actually got the VIN in time to get the insurance and the loan, drove the bike back 200 miles without plates (no hassles from the LEO's on this :clapping: )

So I arrive at warhorse at 12:45 Sat., as I said earlier the bike was ready at 8AM. They have a kiosk in the center of the dealership, so I tell the guy at the kiosk I am here to pick up an FJR. He says OK I will let sales know. Two hours later I have made some new friends, gave a brand new rider a couple of riding tips (I'm no Bostrom, but this guy needed it) as he waited with me for his bike, asked numerous times what the hell was going on, memorized their inventory, and never had more than a one sentence conversation with a person that works there. Now I might forgive earlier transgessions as I was not the person on the PDP, but now I am standing in the showroom with a check for $11,500. Hell I was even ready to buy some farkles, but screw that. I eventually ended up leaving the dealership at 3:30. It took that long to get a salesperson to hand me the keys. :angry2: The guy that did finally hand me the keys was nice enough, and did a competent job of checking me out on the bike - took ten minutes when they finally got around to it. I would have liked to have looked at the bike while I was waiting for 3 hours, but I couldn't even talk to someone long enough to do that!

NA Warhorse is a big dealership, and apparently there are too few employees working there. The guy that answers the phone just says "Warhorse" he is in such a hurry to get back to work. If you have ever been to a dealer where the guys working there are too cool for their customers you know the type. Their price on the bike is spot on, we also have them broken in on how to do a PDP transfer (what a hassle that was). You will have to decide whether the BS sales department is worth it, if you do buy from them talk to Sandy. Oh yeah, if you want to buy a brand new 2002 Indian they have several in stock. Probably could get a real good deal on them

P.S. While now their failure is complete. Checked the screws on the bags today. The supplemental owners manual for the bags clearly states that these have to be loctited, as does the dealers manual (from what I have read). Well they weren't, thumbs down to the service department too.

+1: I'm not impressed with this dealership either. I picked up my 06 about two weeks ago, waiting about an hour, as my salesman, Sandy, disappeared. The bike wasnt cleaned (though Sandy did detail it while I was in F & I. I'd have figured they would have it ready, as I was exactly on time. Had to wait while they filled up the gas, as I had a 3 hour ride home. I havent had any follow up phone call from the dealership at all. The worst part of this is the bike prep. The oil sight window was totally overfull past the glass, and as I detailed it after two days of riding, I noticed the brake caliper bolt on the front left brake was fully backed out. It would have fallen out after not too many more miles of riding.

Definitely not recommended!

Good heads up, I was planning on giving them a call in my upcoming search for an FJR. Don't think I will be doing that now.
