Well, fail on my part. I tried to word it so the very next post after mine wouldn't be the exact one you posted. There is water in all normal distillations because a single distillation doesn't yield 100% alcohol. Then water gets added to adjust the alcohol content to what ever the distiller aims for. I simply meant don't add it to the alcohol in my glass (sigh). I guess that's too simple. And yes, I have had straight from the pot commercial and copper still distillations. In fact, GalaxyBlue and I put away some first draw single malt scotch at an EOM that was sent to him from his brother in Scotland and it was *real good* even though it clocked in around 130 proof. Unfortunately, the next day Mr Blue was green and failed to make the morning ride. And missed lunch. And was still pretty green later in the afternoon. Score! I got in at least some oblique FJR content.Not to be argumentative... Well, yes, exactly to be argumentative!
...without water added to it...It is some fairly vile tasting stuff...
