easy way to tell l and r ear buds

if your like me ,I always have to look at the l and r on my er-6.for some reason I always have to flip them.easy fix is on the r one just make a small knot with a loop.never guess again.

Have you ever noticed:

We have 2 ears. Right and Left.

There are two ear buds. Right and Left.

That means there should be a 50/50 chance of getting them on right. However 90% of the time they are backwards. WTF, over??!!

 
So, just curious. What happens when they go in the other ear? I can't tell the difference with my Ertomics. However I can tell with my westone customs.

I used a little red fingernail polish. Red = Right.

So, just curious. What happens when they go in the other ear? I can't tell the difference with my Ertomics. However I can tell with my westone customs.
For me, if they go in the wrong ear they don't fit right.

But that will makes the notes come out of the knotted one with a delay compared to the unknotted one. Right?

For all my custom molded ear monitors (where L/R fitment is required) I have the right one colored red when being made.
