This is a great road, I was thinking maybe an SS1K on Monitor Pass would be fun......

How about Markleeville to Topaz Lake and back 40 times, should be about 1080 miles.....

Looks like a nice smooth piece of road. It was interesting to watch the vegetation change with your altitude. Nice video quality as well. Well done.

Based on the "Laps of LA" that was done a few years ago, why not? Although it might be more fun to ride a loop of some kind rather than a back-and-forth.

The loop from Markleevile to TOpaz to Gardnerville to 88 to 89 to Markleeville is 65.5 miles @ 1hr:30min. Soooo, 15 loops=22.5 hrs. But Monitor could be interesting in the dark....and there are 3 places for gas stops: Markleeville, Topaz and the intersection at the 756/Riverview turn in Gardnerville.

65 miles in 1.5 hours? To my recollection there are a lot of miles that can be taken at >>>>40mph The way Richard was leading I think the 65 miles would take about 50 minutes on average.
