EBC Clutch removal tool

Hi all

Thinking of put my clutch plates in an oil bath.

Regarding to pictures from this forum it seems pretty easy.

Is this an unnecessary tool?

The only "special" tools I needed were a couple of home-made hooks.

One was a 5-inch nail with its end filled, I'd had it for years, can't remember why I'd "made" it. The other was a piece of copper wire, the end bent and flattened with pliers. Took all of half a minute to make.

Helped in getting the last few plates out.

The tool I think is for removing the clutch hub. Uneeded for clutch plate removal...

Same function, but I'd bet you get more use outta the one on the right!

Besides, Knifemaker is correct...for hub removal, not plates removal.
