Hi, purchased my second FJR1300, 2013 and after the first ride I would like to disconect or

disable the flashing "ECO" light. It's very distracting and I don't care about gas economy and

"I can't drive 55"

Called Yamaha in CA and they said maybe they could ,and would get back to me.

"ECO" indicator is under the LED gas level bars.

Thanks

Kenny

I didn't notice it either... oh yeah, I ride a Gen 1.

While your getting it done, find out exactly how they did it. I'm sure that will be some valuable info in the future. Oh and ...Southern Cruiser, I heard that nobody ever rides behind you for long... too hard to keep up. Ain't that so?

Well, you'll are not whacking the throttle enough to notice, and I

don't want a Tree Hugger dash indicator. "Black Tape" will look tacky.

What next??

I don't think there is an official way to disable Eco mode. That being said, I think if you unplug the O2 sensor it *may* render Eco mode inoperable. Can't hurt to try...
