A few pints of well deserved Leffe Ruby. A nice beer for sure. This is my wingman AliG.

Nice run into Givet the next day. Beautiful town. And it was Bastille day so we got a parade too.

Cracking run up through the Ardenne Forest and onto Francorchamps. It was here where a limp wristed Belgian decided his Maserati would be better than the FJR around the local roads. He was wrong!!!

Met the rest of the group in the pub that night.

Next day we had a run out to the Nurburgring. A local gave us the heads up on a way onto the circuit!

This appeared at the garage and a few guys were stopping folks getting pictures. So I totally ignored them. It's the new McLaren apparently.

Nurburg Castle from where the track draws it's name.

This was also in the garage. A 1953 BMW which the guy and his wife were riding back to Switzerland from England!

Man, I love pictures of Europe. I watch the Tour De France every year just for the video of the countryside. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice report and photos, thanks for sharing. I envy the British, who can catch a train under the channel, and have all of those great places and roads to travel to. Cheers!

Great pics! Wish I could take a real trip like this.Last time I was in Germany was '09 to see my cousin. Went after a couple years since my father's passing. No riding, just visiting and some sightseeing. https://http//youtu.be/2kYEV8XF3uE Check out this link, if I did it right. A couple of English lads went over and rode the Harz mountain region. Maybe gives you guys an idea for another ride over there.

Did the Harz last September for 5 days. Brilliant time.
