Here is a video i put together of the Electrical storm we had blow through Ventura 2 nights ago. Shot this video out back door of my home.

Holy currents!! Very scary.

I love the sound of thunder :exhappysmiley: but can live without the lightening, wind, etc.

I saw the lightning from down here Thursday evening.

We got that storm Fri morning. It was very cool to get a summer rain, but it did start a couple of fires that were quickly put out.

Yeah it was.... Cant find a point of impact though.. The Neighbor and I where out looking for a burn mark or something...Cant find any thing.. I have a rod iron fence in that area????

Living in York, PA I gained a new appreciation for thunder storms. What you encountered is like what I've seen, but i must admit, I don't recall seeing anything get that close. Nice shooting!

Cool video jdog. That stuff was way too close to you. Not very often we get a storm like that in sunny SoCal.
