As far as the seat goes, i just find it uncomfortable on my butt on long rides. Maybe I will find a custom person around to help with that.thanks for all your help!

1. I have found that over the calf cross country wool socks work well to block on the shin. Smart Wool, light weight Needs to be wool

2. The seat on my 04 would get very hot and in fairly warm weather. My fix was to insure that combustion air intake pulled from the under seat. It was a good fix. I think the stale air doesn't sit there and accumulate heat.
