Engine Id #

I have just moved to NM and they need an Engine ID in order to get tags--I have tried to find it but just not smart enough to see it. Already have the VIN--can somebody help

look on the back side of the motor in front of the swing arm pivot. It's pretty hard to see.

Well, crawled all over and under the bike and cannot find it. I suppose the only other thing is to remove the fairings and see if it is somewhere on the block. :angry: :angry: :angry:

Did you check your owner's manual? I **think** they describe where it is located.

From past threads on this subject, you should NOT have to remove plastic. You just need to find the right angle/contortion to view it.

Use a mechanics mirror. Slip it in just ahead of the rear shock. It's on the back of the block. You'll find it.
