Ummmmmm...Where'd the OP go?
The OP got his answer. The OP didn't feel that a 'thank you' was needed. The OP has no idea how fortunate he is that this thread went as well as it did. This is the first oil thread in a *long time* that went this good. (If the OP doesn't update his profile to show a motorcycle I'll think the question was presented by a TROLL who just crawled back into the swamp  )

Your right infidel...........I was wondering where my post went. I figured I did something wrong and it disappeared. Anyway.............im thinking of using the non synthetic rotella. I a little concerned about harming the clutch with synthetic oil. I'm going with the bosch oil filters. Thanks

Well, you were correct on that. You were wrong to not do a search. It disappeared to NEPRT.

What I suggest is to put in a quart of every different oil that this forum recommends. That way you have all your bases covered. There will be enough of the good qualities of each oil to make everything run smoothly and well. The bad points of each oil will be overcome by the other brands mixed in the crankcase. A Win Win situation for everyone. For bonus points add a cup of laundry detergent so you can truly say you have "High Detergent Oil". Don't use Dawn dishwashing liquid whatever you do.

Seriously, I hope you got all the answers you needed. I am certain you also got a valuable lesson on how the forum works.

Right now I'm running Amsoil. On my next change I might try Motul. I run that in my Triumph and really like it.

At that price, what's wrong with just using the Semi-synthetic Yamalube?? Don't believe all the hype.

Hell, after finding out that I can get a gallon of Yamalube from my dealer for $21, I'm going back to that. Then there's no question...Like there ever really was.
